Chaotic 14 month old Puppy

I have a 14 month old Maltipoo Shes the sweetest thing ever but has always been full of energy. I usually leave for work for 8 hours but someone checks up on her once during my shift and it has been chaotic. She has been ripping the furnitures, eating cables ,chewing on the beds and pillows , play-biting every cance she gets to . I have restricted way too many rooms that shes only left with her room which is practically empty with a balcony and the corridors. Her pee pad in her room is always destroyed aswell leaving the whole house covered in bits of pads. What can i do? What am i doing wrong? This is my first time with a dog

PS : She has toys i play with her and take her out almost everyday yet she enjouys being chaotic and never answers my commands even tho she knows them already. She ignores me alot and i've been timing her out as a punishment for a chaotic behavior
