Can acting be fun for a dog?

I’m considering letting my dog do some acting work, but I’m worried it could be stressful or unfair to them.

Do dogs actually enjoy this kind of work, or is it usually more for the owner’s benefit? I’d really like to hear from people who have experience with dogs in film/TV or advertising. How do you make sure the dog is comfortable and not being pushed too hard?
