My 7 month puppy loves bully sticks. When she was younger, a bully stick would last her days. Now she is 70 lbs and can get through one in 15 minutes. Naturally, this is becoming a very expensive goody.
I want to find her another chew that is teeth safe and a bit more cost effective. Or if it just lasts longer, that works great too. She had rickets when I got her, she’s a bit bow legged and has already injured her leg once, so I’m nervous her teeth are also a bit more fragile than most dogs.
What types of chews do your dogs like that you feel are teeth safe? Big emphasis on the last part. Open to both edible and non-edible chew toys. I want to try out the yak chews but I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about teeth safety? Any advice is welcome.
