Hello all you lovely dog lovers.
Me and my fiance are looking to get a dog. We’re active, live in a location with great access to greenery for good walks.
The problem is we both work full time out the house 7:30am – 5:30pm.
I want a dog that can fit into our lives and enjoy their life too. My partner can work from home one day per week. I can bring the dog into the office if need be. (I work in construction, and other people bring their dogs in. They get walked and played with in the yard by alternating people)
I would like to not have to need to bring my dog to work as some days I might have site visits, or they may revoke people able to do it (I doubt it, family run business, but could still happen especially if I move companies).
I have all my family close by to where I live. They could check on the dog at home at lunch.
I just want to know what breeds people suggest I have a look at. I would like a dog on the medium to large size, but don’t mind a smaller dog. I’m really not too picky.
These are the breeds I love, from past experience.
Cocker Spaniels
Viszla
German Shepherd
Golden retriever
Labradors
