Been crating my 8mo lab a lot less often, will it harm her training when I need to crate her?

I got Bella at 16 weeks and have crated her since day 1. She’s really good in her crate but wouldn’t settle by herself when out. When she was 5 months old, I’d crate her for 2–3 hours, then let her out for 1–2 hours throughout the day.

Then I started letting her stay in her pen during crate time and only crated her at night.

She rarely got calm enough to sleep on my bed, but about a month ago she started getting calmer when roaming the house. She’d play with her toys on my bed until she fell asleep. For the last week, I’ve been letting her sleep with me every night.

Will this harm her crate training when I need to crate her in the future?

She’s not a fan of going in the crate when I tell her now, but I figured it’s just the teen phase. She will go in when I bribe her with treats though, and she sleeps as well as before once she’s in.

Last month she also got a lot better with house training — we’re at 45 days with no accidents.
