My puppy just hit the four month mark! Annnnddd she’s teething. Tonight we went to bed and about an hour later, she let out a few sad noises. Took her for a potty then back inside, all she wanted to do was mouth my hand. She took a while to settle down and eventually she held my finger while she fought sleep. I felt bad putting her back in her crate without something to chew later. Does anyone have a recommendation for a bedtime chew toy that I can give her in place of my finger? This sounds weird but maybe a toy that feels like a finger? I know it won’t be the same because it doesn’t taste and smell like my finger but I hope it’ll be a good substitute in the middle of the night when she’s only half awake.
