Looking for suggestions for a shoulder bag to carry my dog! Does not need to comply to plane compliance/standards.
I’m looking for a bag to carry my dog around NYC, when I take her on the subway or on train like LIRR/Amtrak. She’s a beagle mix, around 23 pounds, 22 inches long, and 20 inches tall.
Not looking for a backpack, I want to be able to see her. I currently have a pet carrier for the plane, but it is very hard to carry her, I put the shoulder straps on but still have to put both hands under the carrier to hold her. She also likes to have her head out.
Just to clarify, I would use this bag for train travel and in areas that are very crowded / loud, in which case she gets very nervous.
The few bags I’ve viewed from Reddit recommendations typically suggest the dog is max 20 lbs.
Any recommendations?
