so i'm thinking with my boyfriend about getting an aussie puppy next year, but it's going to be my first dog ever. my bf had two dogs (miniature pinschers, they're crazy af) so he knows how to work with active dogs. my only one experience with a herding breeds is time spent with my aunt's border collie (versatile line, mix of showline and working line), he's crazy and used to misbehave when he was younger, but at lest i know why he was like that. i've read a lot about aussies, have spoken with owners of these and with behaviorists and i'm still afraid i might fail raising a puppy like that… so please tell me about your experiences with aussie puppies (showline ones! not even thinking about getting a working line…)
