My golden retriever girl is almost 12 months old, we've had her since 8 weeks. The last few weeks she has been incredibly chill and just doing… nothing? She will get playful with toys for 10 minutes, she enjoys her walks and seems excited for them.
But she just… lays down and does nothing for a lot of the day now. She will sit and look out the back door (which is open).
I don't know how to tell if this is just her personality or if it is something concerning? Typing it out I feel like I'm overreacting but I worry she is miserable or something? The shift just happened quite fast and people had prepared me for her to be a little crazy for most of her life. Would appreciate some reassurance that I don't have a depressed dog or something lol.
