Hello everyone!
I have an almost 20 week old Samoyed, and honestly he’s an awesome puppy. He does his nights in his crate, he’s clean, he listens well most of the time, he doesn’t bark that often, and he’s very respectful to other dogs even if he’s excited to see them. Everyone is impressed of how well he’s behaving.
But I gotta be honest, I am dreading the day he turns into a teenager. People tell me that he’s going to forget EVERYTHING and that I’ll start from scratch. While I’m aware and prepared for the outcome, it is stressing me out. I’m at least hoping he keeps some of his personality.
I’m not looking for a reality check, I know what’s coming. I’m just looking for advice on how to surpass this temporary situation in the best way possible, and maybe even some hopeful messages.
