Advice on Puppy Training

Hello everyone!

Has anyone used an online dog training app before? If so, please share your experience (both good and bad).

I grew up around dogs for the most part of my childhood, so I've always been used to them. However, after finishing university, I moved out of my parents' home and just welcomed a new puppy. And it's only now that I realise how much work my parents have done in training the other family dogs.

For context: I'm 27 (M), I work in a startup with flexible hours and WFH option but the amount of money in person trainers or group training classes are charging is ridiculous!

I've tried watching a few youtube videos here and there to teach little exercises like touch, etc. but I feel like I am not doing a good job of providing proper training.

Any advice on using online dog training apps would be HUGELY helpful.
