My wife and I are gonna be adopting a beautiful puppy, she is a mix between a corgi and a boxer. When trying to do research, we can’t find much info on adopting at her age (7 months old rn). She hasn’t been very well socialized and shows signs of being ignored by her current owners. I want to ensure that we are setting her up for as much success as possible. Currently not gonna be able to pick her up for 3 weeks the day of her final round of shots (current owners decision, not mine). Because of this, we will be meeting her periodically to ensure she knows my wife and I before taking her home. Do yall have any tips or suggestions to get the first few nights right? I’m taking time off work to allow her to be supervised and begin crate training as she has never had a crate in her life.
