15 week old puppy will not stay settled in crate

As the title says, my 15 week old min pin puppy won't stay settled in the crate during the day.

I brought her home a week and a half ago, and she was great, would sleep in there for up to 2 hours, I could leave the room for short amounts of time. The last few days she will not sleep in there during the day.

She'll happily go in for a play, on her own, or let me put her in when she's sleepy. She'll curl up, but within 10-15 minutes of me closing the door she'll perk up, cry, bite and claw at the bars and refuse to settle.

At this point I've given up, I'm letting her sleep next to me or on me so she gets her naps in, but that's not sustainable. any tips or ideas would be really appreciated!
