10 month old puppy can’t hold it’s pee for 6 hours.

She's use to having someone around constantly but my work hours sometime mean I won't see her for 8 hours. I even have somrome checking in on her in between but today I had her out at 11 and she did many pees and by the time the person came in by 5 she had peed on the floor. I know she's a puppy but I suspect she fully doesn't have potty training down since this has happened good few times before. It's like she can't wait.

I'm not sure what to do and I really don't want to put this dog in diapers or get a pee pad because I'm positive that will cement the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: I also want to add that I suspect this may be behavioual. I keep her in the kitchen when I'm gone which is spacious and has toys but when she was found she had pulled cushions and blankets onto the floor. She's clearly frustrated but I don't trust her to not try to bolt out the front door when help arrives.
