I am planning to travel with my dog in cabin internationally from Canada to India. Previously i have had a horrible experience with Air Canada because the entire staff was extremely rude and heartless. Does anyone have any advice on which airlines should i choose this time for my travel?

We have two medium-sized dogs (35 lbs and 55 lbs). For the time being, we transport them to and from places in the back of an old beater vehicle, but we plan on selling that car soon, and when that happens I’ll have to start transporting them in the back seat of my pickup.

Neither of them is the calmest when in the car, and they’re both shedders. Additionally, I’d rather avoid having their claws scratch up the seats. I’m looking for advice on how to protect the truck from damage, as well as keep the dogs safe during transport.

I'm having a hard time finding anything worthwhile about this topic anywhere on Reddit and online. I'm a dog owner who wants their car to smell good. That being said, I don't want to use essential oils or the fresheners that hang on the mirror that are filled with toxic chemicals. I'm looking for a pet safe alternative. Does ANYONE know of anything I can use? Thank you in advance.
