  • I need help!

So my boy Puppy who is 3 years old keeps trying to hump my 100 year old girl dog. She keeps crying and he keeps trying. We neutered him but he still does it.

    Help me?

  • rehoming advice

About a month ago, I “rescued” a cane corso/GSD mix. He was being rehomed by a lady in my town on FB marketplace. She said he was suitable for my 2k sqft townhome and required a few walks a day for his energy to get out. He was also advertised as a working dog for psychiatric and mobility tasks.

Unfortunately, he has so much energy and behavioral issues that we cannot handle him anymore. We don’t want to give him back to her as she is most definitely not trustworthy and whenever I text her, she spews lies about his behavior being our fault.

Long story short — we are looking to rehome him. We want to find somebody with a large yard and hopefully other dogs that will be able to play with him. Does anyone know of any good rehoming organizations that can help with placement? I don’t trust using outlets like FB or adopt a pet.

  • Has anyone tried Genius Dog?

I was wondering if anyone has tried the Genius Dog subscription box? I saw an ad that said they make champagne and popcorn for dogs, and I think it could be fun to try. I worry about my dog getting less active as she gets older, so I was looking for some more enriching toys and treats for her.

  • My dogs eats my cat poop

My dog (toy poodle) loves to go inside my cats toilet and grab the poop from there and eat it.

Not sure how to prevent that.

We cannot put it in a high place, we cannot close it either as the cat needs to use it

    Any suggestions?

  • First dog passing

    Hello

I’m writing because it’s been almost a year since my first ever dog died. I am deeply hurt by it and it’s been weighing on me ever since it happened. How did you all navigate life after? I’m having a hard time. I have goals, family that loves and cares for me it’s just I can’t move past my beloved pet passing. I knew the day would come, heck I’d even cry when she was a puppy because I knew it wouldn’t be forever, but I’m still super hurt. Any advice? Please…

  • Actually rechargeable, reliable light up collar or harness?

Has anyone found a rechargeable, long lasting light up collar or harness for nighttime walks that ACTUALLY charges? I’ve bought every single kind I can find in my local area, from Petco to Pet Food Express to REI, and they either permanently die never to recharge via cord or they’re so small as to be useless at night. My dog is mostly black and medium sized so the dangling kind off the collar is basically invisible because she’s too close to the ground to be seen from a car. She has a reflective harness but really looking for something that will make her more visible at night—going to get a light up vest for myself to be extra about it but appreciate any recommendations!!

  • Best safety tested double boot crate

apologies if this has been asked before ! I have two mini Aussies (spaniel sized dogs) and they are going to need to be crated in the boot of my car over the next few months when we travel.

We are UK based and I drive a BMW 1 Series (atm – that might change so I don’t want to get a custom fit crate )

A lot of the safety testing in crates seems to indicate that the dogs wont harm human passengers in the event of an accident – but my main worry is if I am rear ended the boot is a crumple zone and I want a crate that will hold up.

Does anyone have any experience with Thule Allax cages, transk9 or MIMsafe ? (or any other recommendations?)

preferably a double crate as I would prefer they have their own space instead of sharing.
