My Lhasa works through every puzzle I've tried in less than five minutes. I tried level four stuff and it's all the same.

Anyone have recommendations on more difficult dog puzzles?

My 8mo border collie mix seems to lose interest in games very quickly, especially if only me or my wife is out there (can't play alone, need everyone together). She'll chase a ball, or frisbee, or run around with us for a few minutes only, and then just lays down and won't engage. She clearly still has energy and wants to play, because after we bring her inside she'll be romping around with her toys. I'd like to find things that can keep her engaged for more than a minute or two for running, but so far everything is hit and miss.

I'm thinking of getting one of those egg shaped balls or something that she can herd and roll around, but beyond that I'm stumped with how to tire this dog out.

Pup is 15 weeks. Generally a good boy alought nips and chews everything still. Crate training ist going great. He'll sleep in there at night but in the day he'll not spend time in it. He'll whine if put in to nap and only swttle once let out. Im looking for advice for bed time. He won't go in the crate willingly so we move him. He will snarl and snap if we try and wake and lift him so we coax him up with treats, we lure him out for a toilet break and then carry to the crate. It doesn't always work and we've been forced to just ignore the snarling and lift him. If this is like resource guarding then we will be making it worse. I dont trust him to sleep outside a crate yet so a bit lost.

My neighbor’s dog bit my puppy in the face. We have a fence, but there are small gaps in it. Puppy stuck his face through the fence and the dog bit him. It drew blood, but nothing too bad.

This is our fault, because shortly after we got our puppy, we noticed the neighbor’s dog was NOT friendly. Snarling, antagonizing our dog, etc. MOST of the time, we have him on a long lead outside (and don’t go out if the dog is already outside, usually it just so happens that they let their dog out when we are already out there). We should do it 100% of the time, I know that now. We screwed up.

We are going to get some fence blockers to fix this issue. Something we should have already done. Again, we screwed up.

Anyways, I am terrified that this is going to ruin my puppy’s relationship with other dogs. My pup was scared, he yelped and cowered and ran away. I don’t want him to be reactive/scared/etc going forward because of this incident.

If anybody could provide some suggestions to help my pup through this, I would really appreciate it.

I’m considering flying with my 15 lb dachshund from one US city to another US city. I’ve tried researching online but everything is vague and confusing.

To anyone who’s done this, which airline did you fly and what dog carrier did you use?
