She’s almost 2 year old. This is a new thing which she has started to do. We do take her on walks and play with her. Is this normal. I’m a bit concerned.

I live in a pretty cold state and they use salt on the roads during the winter so im looking into getting my dog some shoes but not sure where to start. How much should I be looking at spending? Also any training tips on how to get them used to wearing the shoes?

I have a German shepherd who is 1 and a half years. She knows it’s not ok and has been told many times, when caught it’s obvious she knows she’s doing something wrong. I got a push trash can and that didn’t help. Since we both work we’ll put something on top to weigh it down but she still finds a way and it’s frustrating. She’s an extremely good dog besides this behavior. She always has food in her bowl so I know she’s not hungry because all she really eats is paper towels when she does get into the trash and when i get home her bowl is always empty.

So our 12 week old small breed puppy that we just got last Friday has one pee accident per day in the house (no poop accidents yet). She hasn’t peed more than one time in a day in the house. So she is partially potty trained. I cannot sit and stare at her for every minute and second of the day though. I also don’t want to keep her in a crate or pen constantly.
I have seen people say, “My puppy never pees in the house.” and “Do NOT let her pee in the house. That is the trick to potty training.” “Don’t keep her in a crate all the time.” and “Use a crate!” 🫠😵💫
*EDIT TO ADD-We have a puppy play pen but she loathes it when left alone in it. She whines and barks loudly.
I have things to do around the house pretty regularly and a toddler to take care of so I cannot keep my eyes on the puppy constantly. It is impossible. So is it okay to put her in the crate more than twice a day? Do you do this? Do you have any other reasonable advice?

Hello! I have an 8 month old male corgi. We have been waiting to get him neutered to see if his testicles would drop, but they haven’t. I’m wondering if a pet insurance plan that has wellness as well, would cover the full cost. Our vet gave an estimate of $1300, that being the most it would cost, could be less.
I have looked at shelters, but since his testies are stuck, they haven’t suggested we go to a vet… they also didn’t seem interested in dealing with it.
Thank you for any tips or advice!
