I have set up my dog’s Advent calendar with a treat a day. I think however, it’s going to be 24 days of her barking at a cardboard Christmas Tree. Any ideas?

I got a good sized house. My dogs spend all day in the same 10 sqft that I am. I got a huge back yard. I take them out and they want to come back in shortly afterwards. Most dogs in my experience don't make use of sqft aside from my personal space and right nearby.
If they like fetch having some room to do that somewhere can be useful but none of my dogs do. Walking outside their home makes a big difference to them. The dogs in small apartments have it the best because their owner has to walk them vs being let out into the same boring fenced yard. A larger fenced yard is better than a smaller one, but doesn't hold a candle to walks.
Maybe it's more likely for herding breeds or independent breeds or so much goddamn energy breeds to make use of space. I just have mostly not seen it as the owner of German Shepherds, Rottweilers, Great Danes, Saint Bernards, and generally larger dogs.

I have two dogs, one long haired collie and one short haired. I wanted to get my partner a warm dressing gown or oodie for xmas but most materials used in these things attract dog hair like a magnet. I wondered if anyone had recommendations for anything that was less magnetic to dog hair but still warm and cozy.

So my now 6 month old westie is left alone for max 2 hrs and put in his crate and is usually asleep when I get home.
After him getting into my neighbour's fence through a hole, I was chatting to the neighbour who ended the conversation by letting me know he howls when I go out! I'm devastated as I thought he was doing ok and we'd worked on this. I had to go in the garden to patch up the hole and he whined at the door.
What do I do? Start again with separation training?!

Hey:)
Getting a dog was my life long dream. I visited puppies yesterday and one of them just chose me. Fortunately the calmest one of all. He showed full interest in me and fell asleep on my lap.
I will bring him home once he is 3 months old, which is in exactly 1 month. He is a Berger Suisse Blanc, I ll call him a German Shepard dog but change my mind haha
Now I started to realize: I know NOTHING about how to train a dog well. Potty training, crate, setting boundaries etc.
Where can I learn all of this? Will reading through Reddit be enough? Should I get a trainer in person? Should I socialize him with dogs of my friends who aren’t trained at all? I have infinite questions and I want to be the best dog father to this little boy that I possibly can be.
Really appreciate every answer

He caught a squirrel in the backyard a few weeks ago so now all he does is check trees for more.

I need advice. I've had my dog for 4 years. I recently started dating someone and it has gotten pretty serious quickly. I recently found out he is not fond of my small dog – he says he is just a lot for him (my dog really likes him so gets really excited when he shows up, wants to be around/on him when he's here, sleeps next to him). So he essentially told me that he doesn't think he could handle him being around him 24/7, like in the future if we lived together. I asked him what he would expect to happen and he said he would try at first but it'd probably be a problem and I also need to think about his feelings but to not overthink it right now because it is in the future . I just need opinions and advice on this situation. Am I overthinking/over reacting too much/early? It just worries me because my dog is my baby (which he disagrees and states he is not, he's my dog)..
Just an edit to clarify: I would NEVER get rid of my dog for anyone. 🙂 just asking for opinions and advice in general, thank you 😊
