Looking for other toy brands like West Paw. These toys literally are indestructible!! I have a super chewer Blue Heeler and German Shorthair Pointer mix that’s 8 months old. He has destroyed every other toy we have bought him besides West Paw, not even a tooth mark in them! The other downside is that I wish they had more variety in their toys. Anyone have some recommendations for brands like them?

As the title says, I need help finding a dog kennel for my pup. He is 85lbs, his height is 30in, his length is 43in. I'd prefer a kennel that's been crash tested or would be good for a car. Would love any help/recommendations 💙

Over vacation, I ran into a woman with a very well trained small dog. I saw them on a walk one day and as I was watching them…the dog squatted and the woman got a poop bag quickly and held it open (on both sides) under the dog…so it pooped into the bag instead of the grass.

Interesting. I have always (like many people) let the dog poop on the ground and then picked it up. They do it this way so the poop never touches the ground. Are others doing this? I was impressed but also felt it was weird. I can’t stop thinking about it.

First winter coming up with my mini schnauzer. For those with dogs with similar hair and grooming needs: what is your winter grooming like?

I've had similar dogs in the past, and the snow clumps on their legs/bellies/beards are terrible to get out every time they're tromping around in the snow (and probably cold). For that reason, I'm tempted to get her groomed short.

On the other hand, I don't want her to be super cold. I'm sure longer fur is warmer. Water resistant jacket maybe?

Hello, we just got our puppy last week. She’s our second dog. We are crate training her and try to keep to a schedule but instead of the 2 hr nap, 1 hr up, she only sleeps for about 45 minutes to an hr. Then she’s up for about an hr and then it takes her about 20 min to settle for a nap. At night she only sleeps for 1-2 hr spurts. Is this normal? At night we are sleeping next to her crate upstairs and it’s also attached to a play pen which we keep open during the day, but closed at night. If she cries at night, we take her out to potty and then go back in. She does pee every time. Should we just keep on carrying on? Do folks keep their dogs in the crates for a full 2 hrs even if they’re up during the day? We work from home but it’s been hard to be productive when she’s only sleeping 45 minutes and 15 of those are spent near her crate till she falls asleep. Any help appreciated!

I have a 2 years old pug. Recently, after the first real snow storm of the year (3 days ago) my dog has refused to poo on schedule. I usually walk him in the mornings and in the afternoon before each meal. This past Monday he refused to poo in the morning so I skipped his meal because he doesn't eat until he goes to poo but he did so after I came from work. Tuesday the exact same happend.

Today I stayed at home and after the third walk he pooed I also fed him at that time .. . that was around noon. After work I have walked him 4 times around the block and took him out 3 more times after that with no luck. I also shoveled a 5×5 ft grass patch for him but that did nothing for him. I dont know what else to do. Can someone please advise?

I got an Annyx Open Fun harness for my border collie but I’m afraid it might be too large. Is this fit alright or is it indeed too big for her?

I’ve had my dog for about 3 months now, and this has never happened. Out of nowhere he just started pacing around and looking at me weird. Sometimes he’ll look at me sad and others he’s looking with his ears perked up. It’s been probably 45 mins of this.

He doesn’t need to potty, he has food and water, he accepted treats, he doesn’t want to play or exercise. He won’t get on the couch or bed with me at all. He hasn’t gotten in trouble or anything. Nothing new or scary (that I know of) is happening or in the house. I tried following him in case he wanted to show me something, but he just looked up at me. He hasn’t shown any signs of pain or discomfort, I’ve touched all around his body to test for a reaction and he’s just standing there. None of his things are in hard to reach places.

He has been playing and eating and relaxing like normal all day until this. I don’t know what to do to help him.

Guys I have a male miniature poodle, 11 years old and has become super aggressive with age. Started noticing it around 5 years old. I can’t travel or leave him alone with anyone, he has bitten multiple people and growls when getting out in his cage, around other dogs and aggressive with his food. I don’t know what to do. Has anyone else experienced this and what would you guys do? It’s an every day occurrence.
