My dog goes to daycare about once per week. Boarded one night a month typically as well. She's been going about 8 months. There are 7 workers.
My daughter thinks small coffee gift cards for $10 each is suffice. I think it should be more than that. Money is a little tight, but they take great care of her so ill squeeze it out.
Opinions would be great please and thank you.

My dog loves ice cubes in his water bowl and super cold water. He won’t drink cool or lukewarm water. He gulps it and then immediately walks around the house throwing up viscous clear puddles. It doesn’t seem to bother him at all, but it’s horrible to clean up. This happens every time he drinks water and he runs from us when we try to get him outside immediately after drinking. He treats it like a game.
Any ideas for curbing this behavior? Is the cold water the culprit?

Hi all, I've had my 2y/o rescue dog since July and he's so far been doing great. I live in London and he is very timid, which I know is not ideal, (the rescue did not admit this despite me asking and we didn't get to meet him before he arrived) but despite that he's made massive strides and has just been building and building his confidence every day.
Ever since he arrived, we've been taking him for two walks a day (one in the morning, one in the evening) because we don't have a garden. So far, so good, but for the past few days he has been so unwilling to go outside in the evenings. It's hard work to convince him to come to the door, almost harder than when he first arrived, and there have been times once he is outside that he starts desperately trying to escape his harness so he can run back home. Thankfully we live on a quiet street with no immediate danger from cars etc., but it's obviously very distressing for everyone involved!
I know progress isn't linear so I'm hoping this is just his first low period, but I wondered if anyone else has experienced this and how you dealt with it?
As far as we know nothing has happened to trigger this new fear. He's still excited for his park walks in the daytime, but now will suddenly get anxious halfway round and pull to go home. I just don't know what to think!
Any help or advice much appreciated.

My dog nephew is a large sized dog who I very rarely get to see, but love dearly. We get to see him this Christmas and I want to get him a few toys. He has some medical issues, so his toys can't involve treats. Any recommendations re: toys for this very good boy? TIA.

A few years ago, I bought a GoDog alligator for my GSP and he absolutely loved it. Tore it apart over 3 years cause it’s an older calmer dog now (11 years old). Thing is he really doesn’t care for toys at all, but this specific toy was his all time favorite. I’m trying to track it down again since Christmas is coming up, but from my understanding that size is almost impossible to find? The specific toy is goDog Gators Squeaky Plush Dog Toy, Chew Guard Technology – Blue, Extra Large. it used to be over 20 in. and stuffed to the brim, not like the 18 in. they have as their large at all. If anyone has any information that can help me track it down, that would be super nice!!

My Chihuahua has been doing this chair king type thing since she was a puppy (runt). The vet hasn’t been concerned. But sometimes it happens for 3-4 minutes straight. Anyone know what it is? I have a video but have no idea how to post it

Had the upstairs carpets professionally cleaned today. Made sure the dog went potty before coming up to bed for the night, but alas – she peed on the carpet almost immediately.
This is the first adult dog we’ve adopted who was picked up as a stray, and wow is house training a challenge!

We live together (F24 & M26) and are both big dog lovers, however we cannot agree on a breed. He is adamant of getting a Rottweiler (his childhood dog) and even bringing it home without asking and expecting me to fall in love with it however I really do not like this dog breed. I much prefer a german shepherd for example.
What is recommended for a scenario like this?
