I just took a relaxing bath with eucalyptus epsom salts and I just realized I was supposed to give my dog a bath today. I’ve heard that epsom salts can be harmful to dogs and I worry that if I bathe him right now after there was Epsom salts in the tub, any residual chemicals or whatever from it my be in the bath water or get on his paws (he likes to lick his paws).

Im looking to temporarily foster my dog for a while and be able to take her back but I have no idea where to find people to even try and contact and I am trying to get things figured out in a timely manner I've tried Facebook groups and gotten nowhere Im also not opposed to finding somewhere I can pay to home her if needed

I’m struggling finding a pair that fit and I’m not sure why do before I try something else I wanted to try to ask here.

I’ll provide a photo if I am able too that shows how they look on her. I got her a large fist and then bow a medium medium slips down over time seems like her paw just fits in it large was definitely too big I think. She is 50lbs and she is a mix of breeds.

I have a 3 year old Labrador x Border Collie cross who is wonderful with people outside the house and great when people she knows come to the house. But when new people come to the house, she barks, growls and eventually hides. Luckily, she has not lunged or bitten yet, but I do not want it to get to the stage. Does anyone have any tips or advice, please?

Have a question about a recent development with my almost 12 year old chocolate lab. He recently started pooping in the house a few times a week. He goes out side, he pees and will walk around, but come inside and poop.

Like tonight i put him out, he was out for about 10 minutes, he came to the back door and barked once to be let in. Not 5 seconds in he crapped on the living room floor.

This is a super recent thing and I cant figure out what is going on. He sometimes acts scared to walk off the back deck but always goes out and pees no problem.

Does anyone have any tips, suggestions, insights?

Would a dog understand if I said a word that was three syllables long? Would they just tune out that last syllable? Or would they listen to the whole thing? I have a nam-e in mind for my next dog, and I want to be able to use it as like a come to me or refocus on me command, but it’s 3 syllables so I’m unsure if that would work?

καλησπέρα και ελπίζω κάποιος να το δει 🙂 σήμερα συζητούσα για υιοθεσία σκύλου όλα καλά και άγια , ώσπου μου λένε ότι το μεταφέρουν με πετ ταξί. τους λέω έχω ένα πολύ καλό φίλο που ίσως μπορεί να έρθει να το παρει.. και μου αρχίζει μια κεκαλυμμένη επίθεση τύπου ααα δεν ξέρω και γιατί αφού θα έρθει σπίτι σου μόνο με 70 ευρώ κλπ . την ψιλιαζομαι και κάτι μου βρωμάει κ παίρνω την κοπέλα που το φιλοξενουσε (γιατι τοση ώρα μιλούσα με την κοπέλα που έκανε το ποστ)και μου αρχίζει μια πιεση, ένα κακό, να δεχτώ να έρθει με πετ ταξί ! της λέω θα έρθω εγώ προσωπικά ως εκεί να το πάρω και να μου λέει όλο υπεκφυγές ! να μην τα πολυλογω μου βρωμανε πολύ όλα αυτά και ακόμα περισσότερο όταν κάποια στιγμή μου είπε : έχεις κάποια ανησυχία θα συζητήσω με την άλλη κοπέλα και της απαντησα ότι θεωρώ ότι απλά θα με έχει στο περίμενε κ θα το δώσει σ όποιον δεχτει το πετ ταξί και την πληρωμή (που δεν είναι τελικά πετ ταξί αλλά θα μεταφέρει ανθρωπους κ θα κάνει κ εξυπηρετηση ) και επίσης μου τα μασούσε οτι το σκυλί υπάγεται σε μια φιλοζωική που αν και ρώτησα δεν είπε σε ποια κ όταν ρωτησα οκ με ποιον θα κάνω το συμβόλαιο μου είπε με μενα .. κρίμα γιατί το ήθελα το σκυλί αλλά νιώθω ότι είναι αφερεγγοιοι!

Not necessarily a problem, just something I’ve noticed.

There have been times when I’m stressed or upset and my dog acts differently – stays closer, watches me more, or just seems more aware.

I don’t know if I’m projecting, but it makes me wonder how much they actually understand about our emotions.
