What to do when it rains?
Puppy has been doing good going outside now! However now it’s pouring and she’s scared but when she goes inside like potty my grandma locks her outside in the rain for like 5-10 mins each time and i think that’s just not good? So how can i help her go potty outside in the rain so my grandma stops locking her outside. Do i use an umbrella and follow her?? Is it ok she goes potty inside since she’s barely 2 months? Any advice will help since it’ll rain the rest of the week

New puppy home for 5 hours and hasn’t played/drank/peed
Bought our 10 week old puppy home today and like the title says, she hasn’t done anything for 5 hours, just slept on our laps.
I visited her twice with mum and the rest of the litter, and both times she was playing and had lots of energy. Breeder sent picture/video updates regularly and she was playing/exploring/growing normally.
She has been to the vet and had microchip and vaccinations, apart from a small umbilical hernia there were no health concerns reported.
Is she just decompressing after a big day?
Thanks

First time puppy owner – potty training
Hi All,
Wanted to seek some advice since I just got my first puppy.
He is 8 weeks old, and I've had him for a week. We've been focusing on potty training from day 1 with treats and positive reinforcement when he does it right. After 2 days of pooping and peeing in the correct spot (even whimpering when he had to pee or poop so I can open the door for him), he completely regressed to peeing and pooping everywhere but the trained spot.
Is this normal and I was just living the dream for 2 days? Thanks in advance!

Staring at me but does not seem to want interaction
I’m curious on what to do when my puppy is staring at me. She is 9 months old. Sometimes she will just sit right in front of me and just stare. She does not want to be petted or brought on the couch – she will just move away from my arms. I think she might be like “what’s next”. Like this morning, we went on a walk (25 mins), after her breakfast, we played (5-10 mins – also, she seems to not want to play more than 5-10mins these days), trained for a few minutes, then sniff mat (it took about 5 mins), and then I gave her something to shred (5 mins). Like more than enough stimulation for a 9 months old bichon poo in the morning (I believe!?). She is now sleeping on the couch after all that staring. Do I ignore her staring (or ignore half the time)? Do I stare back (lovingly I mean, like I believe it can be affection)? What do you all think? She does not demand bark but I guess it might be demand staring. 🤣 I just feel bad when I ignore her, but I don’t want her to think everything revolves around her (even though it kind of does but she doesn’t need to know that lol).
