When did you start buying puppy stuff?
Picking my puppy (he’ll be 7-8 weeks) up in approx. 30 days. Should I start the process of setting up his health insurance? Should we start to buy all of his puppy stuff now
Or is it way too early lol? My boyfriend things I’m just excited and we should wait until it gets closer but I feel anxious and I want to prepare! Lol when did you all start the buying process ?

One Year old problems!
My now 1 year old golden is starting to be an absolute terror!
we haven’t done professional training because as a puppy he honestly was so easy to train ourselves. He potty trained quickly, great in public, loves other dogs and people, sleeps thru the night etc!
Recently, he’s been super active in the middle of the night, chewing on everything he’s not suppose too even though he has a million chews and bones for him that he normally loves!
Super reactive in public and around other dogs unless he’s off a leash
super active no matter how much exercise he gets!
And isn’t listening to any commands he definitely knows!
He gets these crazy spurts of energy where all he wants to do is bite us and redirection/ time outs nothing works!
We are looking into professional trainers to work with us but just wanted to see if anyone else has advice or tricks 😭 no one is sleeping and our entire day is spent trying to exhaust him.

Dinner: Feed early or push back when you have to be away at usual dinner time ?
I have a 6-month-old puppy. She gets dinner between 17:00 and 18:00. Sometimes she poops right after; sometimes it takes an hour or two. When my husband and I have a dinner date and will need to leave at 17:30, let’s say, should I feed her at 16:00 or wait until we get home around 21:00? I worry that she won’t do her business before we have to crate her. (She has breakfast between 06:00 and 07:00 and gets some treats here and there throughout the day.) What do you usually do in these situations?
