So I have a 2 dogs one is 3 yrs old and about 100 pounds and the other is 5 yrs old and about 56 pounds. Both dogs are penned during the work day as they have shown numerous times they cannot be left out alone during the day. We have always kept them out of their pens at night. My problem has been that my 5yr old will pee in the house throughout the night. We make sure to let them out before we go to bed and as soon as we wake up which is usually at about 5:30am. We have had this problem for quite some time as he pees on furniture and random spots throughout the house. Its almost never the same place 2 times in a row. Everything I've read has said to pen him at night but that starts a fight between me and my spouse as they believe thats not a good life. Its not that I dont agree with them its that I'm at my wits end with cleaning up pee almost every morning. Any suggestions on how to get him to stop peeing inside?

I can either get a dog pacer for 400 and drive 4 hours to get it off facebook marketplace, or a slatmill for 200 that I'd drive about 5 hours for. I'm leaning towards the slatmill, honestly thought about getting both but I don't think I need both.
I like the slatmills for the functionality, they can stop on their own, go their own speed. Unlike the treadmill where it's at a set speed and doesn't go over 8 mph. But I'm trying to pick one by the end of the day so I can go pick it up this weekend. Just trying to get the most bang for my buck, and I'm worried about the motor in the dogpacer failing and not being able to get it fixed. I don't want a treadmill value at 800 dollars if I can't use it. Any thoughts?

Hi! I know there is a post a couple years ago asking for advice for dog jackets and I just want to see if there is any new info or brands out there now.
I have a Catahoula (if you're unfamiliar they originated in Louisiana and are well adjusted to the heat) and we live in MT now.
She has a Nonstop Dogwear Glacier jacket and Ruffwear fleece, however it isn't enough in certain conditions. We have tried Ruffwear booties and they fall off instantly. When she joins us skiing or on hikes and is active, the Nonstop Dogwear jacket is enough. We've recently gotten into ice fishing and when we're stationary she gets quite cold even with the heater.
I am considering getting the Hurtta extreme overall and Canada Pooch suspender boots.
Please let me your thoughts or if you think there are better alternatives!
