16 month corgi pup and she’s NEVER enjoyed her kibble. Should I switch?
My 16 month old corgi pup has never been interested in kibble. As a puppy she was on diamond naturals, and when she reached 11 months I started transitioning her to hills science kibble.
I basically have to force her to eat which is necessary as I notice her poops are so much better when she eats her proper kibble amount.
I don’t do toppers, have never done a food additive type of thing, and am a stickler when it comes to treats so she definitely isn’t over eating.
There has been 2x we needed hills science canned food prescription and she LOVES it.
I’m considering switching to hills science canned food to see if she will finally want to eat.
I want thoughts and opinions. Her 1 year check up at the vet in September was all good.

Potty Training Exasperation
I have a 7 month old Morkie who I have had for about two and a half months. I have done my best to be consistent with potty training, taking him out every hour and 10/15 min after eating and playing. He will go potty outside consistently but still will have accidents inside. It’s getting less frequent than at the beginning but I see a lot of posts of how they should be almost fully potty trained at his age. I just feel like I’m failing and I don’t know what to do. Is it normal for him to still be having accidents? I’m trying to just stay the course with frequent trips and praise when going outside but I just don’t know!!!

How to navigate life with a jack Russell x mini fox terrier in an apartment while working full time?
Hello
I have a 6 month old jack Russell x mini fox terrier and live in an apartment. I work 8-4pm and currently feeling very overwhelmed, guilty and uncertain navigating life with a dog while also working full time.
At the moment, my biggest concern is I have cream coloured carpet in the living/dining space and both bedrooms. He is partially toilet trained, but is still pooing and weeing on the carpet (as well as, most recently, the curtains). I'll be moving to another place in less than 6 weeks so at the moment, I just need a temporary solution.
Some extra info re things I've attempted and how successful they've been:
I have one of the temporary doggy doors leading to outside which he uses. I lock the doggy door when I'm away because (naturally being a terrier), it doesn't take much for him to start barking at the neighbours.
He has recently been desexed and to encourage rest, I've set up a cosy spot for him full of toys and blankets, bedding and a puppy pee pad/grass block in the second bathroom (he is restricted to this area while I'm away at work).
I've used the app mad paws a couple of times for pet sitting during the day but it is quite expensive to use it too often. I've boarded him once at a local, reputable boarder while I was travelling for work, and he seemed like a completely different dog when I picked him up (and not in a good way). He has stayed with family a couple of times while I've travelled for work which he absolutely loves, but they live about 4 hours away.

Some advice needed about crate training
My 11 week old puppy loves his crate at night and early morning/afternoon but he refuses to take a nap in it (constantly whimpers and tries to get out) later in the day like around 4 and on until night time and he becomes a true menace….. what should I do?

Dogs and Red Light Question
This is something I've been thinking about a lot lately. So I know dogs can't see red. I keep my smart lights set to red light most of the time, does that mean to my dog, it's basically the same as if the light was off all the time? Or would she see it like a weird brown light or something?

Why hasn’t my dog been eating lately? Could he be sick?
Lately, I've noticed my dog hasn't been very interested in eating. Whether it's his usual favorite kibble or treats, nothing seems to catch his attention. Before, he'd wag his tail excitedly at mealtime, but now he just lies in the corner, sniffs his food, and walks away. I'm starting to worry—is he sick? Or is it the change in weather, a bad mood, or just being picky?

Any suggestions for keeping my dog’s head dry in the rain?
My dog has a Ruffwear rain jacket that keeps her body nice and dry, but her head still gets soaked whenever we go on walks in the rain. 🐶☔️ I feel kind of bad about it and wondered if anyone has found a good solution for this — like a hood that actually stays on, a visor, or any other trick that works.
