Thoughts about plan. We are getting a new dog in a month and would like some feedback/advice
Hi all!
We are a married couple with a 7 year old and have just picked a Cavapoo. He will be ready by the end of February (nearly 10 wells old) to be brought back home.
Our plan for the moment consists on me taking a full week off work to help him settle a little. I work 9-5, but only 10 minutes away from home, so I will be able to do frequent trips home as needed. My wife can work three days a week from home and for the days that she is not working from home, more than likely we will get some help (some home visits). I do not expect for the puppy to be without a break for max 3 hours at a time. We are planning to start created training as soon as he comes home and focusing on leaving crate open with the water dispenser inside for him to get used to it. As well we will be starting leaving him on his own there a little bit in the beginning, introducing longer periods slowly. We will be giving him entertaining toys with treats (don’t know how they’re called, but those toys that would take him a while to take the treat out) specifically for crate time so he has a good reinforcement to get inside and hopefully be entertained for a while.
Any suggestions?

Puppy Biting normal or concerning?
I have a 10 week old Brittany puppy and I’m wondering, what is a “normal” amount of puppy biting and what should be cause for concern? Sometimes my puppy will get so worked up that he’s growling and jumping while he bites at me. Is that normal? Should I be concerned that he’s becoming aggressive?
When he gets this way I always give him a chance to settle down in his crate and he does. I’m just wondering if the biting/growling and continuing to do so even when I pick him up in this state should be a cause for concern.

Puppy always excited “pees” right before going out.
We’ve been going to her potty spot every hour on the dot. Right before it’s time to go outside she wags her tail crouches, rolls over and a tiny bit of pee always happens. It’s the only time she really pees in the house now, we are almost trained with occasional accident. But I’m not understanding the situation excitement pee. I say it in quotes because it’s literally the smallest amount. It’s like she leaks.

Advice on what to do with my girl when she’s in heat?
Hello! My 10mo mini dachshund has yet to have her first heat but I expect it’s right around the corner. I’m struggling to figure out the best thing to do with her when I have to go into the office.
I work from home 4 days a week and on the day I’m in the office she usually goes to daycare or a dog sitter. Obviously daycare is ruled out and most sitters don’t allow females in heat which I understand. I can’t really request to work from home for those 4 weeks either as that’s quite a while to not be in.
Does anyone have any advice of what to search or look into?
BTW I am getting her spayed but on vets recommendation waiting for her to have 2 seasons. No advice needed on this element

How to tell apart pants
I know puppies pant and extend their tongues when they are anxious, so how do I tell apart either if he is worked up from playing and tired or if he is scared or anxious, I have a 5 months toy poodle and he sometimes just extends his tongue and pants loudly even when running around the house or laying next to me

Help needed to train puppy to not pee/stop at condo hallway
Our american hairless terrier (with coat) doesn't really enjoy pee training outside (its -8 celcius degrees here). Biggest problem now is that after coming out of the elevator, the apartment building's hallway floor has carpets and we wouldn't really want him to pee there, but he insist to stay, smell, and eventually just stop moving there.
Normally he is very much into treats but they wont work there at all.. Tips?

Puppy keeps barking and jumping on me when upset
I have a 4 month old standard poodle and she's a very very sassy girl. I've had her for about a month now and am finding it very difficult to deal with her attitude towards training. When I try to redirect her biting behaviors towards her toys she ignores it and continues biting my arm even harder or barking at me as well. I'm not really sure how to deal with this behavior, ignoring her doesn't work as well she just continues jumping and barking. I am considering taking her to puppy training but in the meantime what can I do? Any puppy advice is appreciate, I've never had a dog act like this.
