4 month old cavoodle won’t eat kibble from bowl
Recently my 4.5 month old cavoodle is being picky about food. We have had him on a high protein kibble from costco up until a week ago when he stopped eating all of his food at once and would pick at it throughout the day. I decided to change the kibble and he’s now on the purina pro plan puppy kibble but He’s not finishing it and isn’t interested in it. He will still eat treats and seems to have an appetite but his attitude towards food is just so odd. I spoke to our vet and they said they wouldn’t worry as long as everything else is normal which it is. I have found that he will only eat the kibble if i sprinkle it on the floor which sounds insane but i’ve done it a couple times for enrichment. He just won’t eat it from his bowl and seems to need a lot of prompting but i’ve just been sprinkling it on the floor recently so that he’ll eat it but I can’t be mopping the floors every second day because he only wants to eat from the floor. Any suggestions or advice would be amazing

Does your pup actually like the crate?
So, my situation is that my now almost 1 1/2 year old pup was crate trained as a puppy and was completely fine with enforced napping and sleeping overnight in the crate. At about six months old, she could settle and nap outside of the crate, so we stopped enforcing naps and let her sleep on the floor of our bedroom at night. She’ll still go in the crate and chill or nap when we make her (rarely), but she has NEVER, not even one single time, EVER entered that crate to sleep, chew a treat, take a break, nothing. Nada. She has no love for it whatsoever. It’s not her place. Her place is where her people are.
Is anyone else’s pup like this? Most people I talk to have dogs who like their crates, including my last dog.

Dog park
Hi, my doggo and I went to the dog park today and she got hit hard twice. Once was when a dog didn’t see her and she yelped I checked her and she looked fine. And the second one she was chasing a ball and tripped and a dog hit her accidentally. She is fine. I know she had a good time. However she seems to be sore and her back hips hurt. She’s only 2 years old. Should I be worried and take her to the vet or will relaxing at home for the next few days be best? She was running with other dogs for about 2 hours so she is tired I’m just worried about her being hit by other dogs. Thank you!!!

My future with dogs!
My future
Hey everyone! I’m still pretty young, but I’m already working toward my dream of becoming a dog enthusiast, breeder, and trainer one day. I’ve always had a huge passion for dogs (German Shepherds specifically) and love learning about their behavior, training, and what makes each breed unique. I will definitely not be a backyard breeding, breeding for money.
Right now, I’m focusing on spending time with my own dogs, observing their behavior, and watching training videos to understand communication and body language better. My long-term goal is to become a responsible breeder who prioritizes health, temperament, and strong human–dog bonds—not just looks.
Does anyone have any suggestions or tips for my future?

Puppy sleeping in bed (discussion)
I’m getting a puppy soon and I’m planning on crate training her. However, growing up I’d let my dog sleep in my bed and it was the best. Does anyone have any positive experiences letting their puppy sleep with them? I’m scared she’ll pee on the bed 😭😭 even though my childhood dog never did!

Irritated bum after grooming
My pup went for his first grooming two days ago and he did get a sanitation cut. Do you find it common that the puppies get a little irritation from the sanitation cut? It looks a little pink. What do you normally put on it? He also had his glands expressed.
