My dearly beloved, but often-enough annoying, 10-year-old Transylvanian hound Mason is both a mooch and a noodge.
If I try to eat anything, even a snack, he smells it immediately, then sits politely staring at me with his deep, soulful eyes, confident I'll do the right thing and give him the last bite. Drooling, and since I'm always barefoot, directly onto my foot. Mr. Mooch.
No mooch? He comes over and shoves his nose under my hand, insisting on skritches. Or he'll shove his butt towards me for over-the-tail skritches. Most pathetically, he'll stand and pretend to scratch his ear with his hind paw, knowing goddamn well I'll call him over and give him the skritches he really wants.
Maybe a better question is, who else has a wonderful, kind, sweet, loving dog who has you wrapped totally around their paw?
