Deaf Puppy House Training

Hey everyone, for the past two and a half weeks me and my family have been taking care of a 6 month old deaf Australian cattle dog. She was given to us with pretty bad manners and really bad separation anxiety. She been a quick learner and has adapted to crate training well. However she continually will poop in the house no matter what we try. I’ll take her out every hour for her to go, and reward her when she does. But, a lot of the time it doesn’t seem to work. She also will never go when we’re on walks; even off leash. I think it could be caused by separation anxiety, but on the other hand I’ve caught her mid squat while playing with her indoors. At this point we’re kind of at a loss with what to do any advice is appreciated!
