I don't know if this fits in the tag I chose but I don't know where more it could fit, so the other day I was cleaning a closet in my house and I found a stuffed animal that I used to sleep with when I was little, and as soon as my dog(poodle toy) saw it, he started jumping and barking at me, so I gave it to him, I was waiting for him to start playing with it like he usually does but instead he grabbed it, took it to its bed and started licking it, I don't think he has ever seen it so he can't remember it, anyone knows why this happens?
