Hello! I need some advice regarding potty training my puppy. Where I am from, you can’t take a puppy outside until they have completed all of their vaccines. With that being said, i have used puppy pads in the house until i can take her out (14 days left to go). We took her to the pad each time after she woke up from a nap, after she ate or drank and after playtime. She has a puppy-proof room until she is fully housebroken, and we only let her in the other rooms when we’re home and can supervise her. She got used to the pads but will only use them if she is in her room. As soon as she plays in the living room for example, she will just start peeing or pooping wherever, despite her room and puppy pads being close. I know she knows she needs to poop on her puppy pads since she always does it when she is by herself or in her room, but I don’t know why she wont do it when she’s in any other room. If we catch her squatting, we immediately take ger to her pad. How can we make her understand that she should only go potty in that one specific place?
