my pup is 14 months and a pretty active breed but nothing like say an aussie or malinois. a hunting breed
the thing is my entire day feels centered around him and even then i feel like im falling short. we walk almost two miles in the morning comes home and he does scentwork and/or puzzles. he may sleep for like an hour or so after this or bother me until we train. then we go on more scent walks for a bit and then we’ll train, condition, and he does more puzzles/controlled destruction (he gets to rip open boxes and sort thru piles).
then he kinda just walks around until he may eat a bit the. go back to doing whatever.
then we go on a another slightly short walk, not much shorter usually just under a mile but letting him sniff a lot.
after this he does scentwork or puzzles or sometimes he’ll go run around at the park.
then around 6 pm he becomes incredibly needy and annoying constantly pacing and seeming like he needs something but ignoring invitations to play or train but harassing the cats or us. he goes back out side for the last time later at night.
i feel like im not doing enough or possibly too much bc why is he so annoying around 6 PM? what should i do?
