Has there been any studies in the different preventative medications lifespan?

Has there been any studies on the different flea, tick, and heartworm medications and lifespan? For example heartguard vs topical vs collar etc.

Of course the benefits are proven and may be worth any ill effects. But say one might shorten your dog's lifespan from 10 years to 9, or another 9.5, or not at all. Those are things that would be worth knowing. Similar to how taking asthma medication long term has an effect on your lifespan for example.
