Choice of dog breed

I’ve wanted a dog all my life so bad. Now I finally have the money and time to buy one. I would be so thankful if someone could help me give some options for a breed.

I have two rabbits so I know some dog really DONT fit with those (hunting dogs etc) But is there any breeds that go especially well together with other animals?

In my work I also sometimes have to travel between two cities (every two months or so). The flight is 1,5 hours long. It seems to be horrible for a dog to be stuffed underneath the plane, so should be a breed below 8kg so it can be taken inside the plane.
