I have a 7 month old 46lb border collie german shepherd mix. We were just told last week that she has severe bilateral hip dysplasia and we've been trying to find a surgeon to take her case. Most have declined until we found one in Toronto, ON. I'm in Windsor, ON and don't drive and was looking for transportation. I was quoted $1190 for there and back from a pet taxi which is VERY expensive when you're trying to save every single penny for her to get a surgery as they said she has a very complex case and she won't have a good quality life without it. I'm just curious is anyone knows any other options, I've looked on countless websites from train to bus to transportation services and don't know what to do. Please if anyone has any recommendations please let me know!
