I own two dogs (pugs, both turning 7 soon). They're both very loyal and sweet, especially my girl. While my boy is more hyperactive and doesn't like to stay in one place much, my girl is much more calmer and every time we go on a walk I always find her looking back to check on me (like I always do when I walk ahead to check on my other dog). She's more cuddly and relaxed, though my boy also likes to cuddle when he's exhausted. Recently, I've been feeling a bit down and generally sick because of some personal issues, and every time I enter the living room, my dogs gravitate towards me. My boy does this weird thing where he climbs on top of me with his front legs and uses my stomach as like.. a rock to stand on (??) while licking me while my girl just sits next to me and leans into my touch. Recently, though, my boy has been doing this weird thing where after a while of standing on top of my stomach, he lays down.. while his hind legs are still standing. So he's just laying on me with his front half while his hind legs remain standing. He doesn't move and tries to keep being there as long as possible. Is this normal? My girl remained the same, but my boy recently started getting extra cuddly when I'm crying or sad. I was just wondering if any other dogs do this or if he's just weird 😭
