We have a 7.5 month old schipperke. At about 6.5 months, we had gotten to the point that he was having about 2 pee accidents per week. More recently, this has increased to almost nightly accidents, sometimes twice. I say nightly, because it rarely happens during the daytime. When he pees in the apartment, it’s usually without warning. He gives no obvious sign that he has to go. He just suddenly pops a squat. We are still taking him out about 8-10 times per day, and had hoped for fewer outings by now, and we’re frustrated that we’re taking him out this much and still having so many accidents. Is this normal at this age? Does anyone have any advice?
