I rescued her as a stray, i dont know her exact age but shes around 1-1.5 years old and a frenchie/chihuahua mix (says google lens) Ive always been a dog auntie and would dog sit for friends but i feel like raising one on my own is different and Im not sure what to expect.
Ive had her for about 3 weeks now and Im starting to understand her personality a bit more and trying to establish a routine for her. Currently trying to potty train her and we will have good streaks (4-6days) and when an accident happens i feel like we regressed so much. Im not sure if i should start teaching her any commands right now or if that would be too much or too confusing for her trying to settle. She doesnt like toys or gets uninterested quickly and i feel like shes always bored or i feel like if shes not busy or sleeping shes gonna get in some sort of mischief (shes gotten a sandwich off the table while i was in the bathroom once)
I think Im putting too much pressure on her and on myself and overwhelmed on what to focus on 🙁
