Cleaning dog pee from carpet

My dog peed on my new carpet. There were two spots. One was about a day old and was dry by the time I found it. The second one was a fresh spot that I blotted dry with paper towels. I added enzymatic cleaner to both spots immediately after finding the fresh pee spot. Since then, I’ve done three treatments so far. They all included pouring the enzymatic cleaner on the spot to make sure it was fully wet and covering the entire pee stain. I then left it for hours/over night before blotting with a towel and leaving it to air dry. Both spots still smell like pee. What am I doing wrong? I used nature’s miracle (red bottle) and Rocco and Roxie. I also poured the enzymes on the carpet (gallon jugs) not just sprayed the surface.

We are also using a black light. However, with every application of enzyme, the pee spot is getting bigger and bigger under black light. I read that enzyme cleaners themselves can also show up under a black light, but we are still worried that all the enzyme is doing is spreading the pee spot out further. How do I know if the enzymes are working or not?
