Good afternoon all, I posted on here a few weeks ago regarding a gift for the previous owners of our rescue. They are such a lovely couple, and bought our rescue home to us last night. Safe to say it was incredibly emotional, we were all crying, they said happy tears, but I just felt sad for them both for having to say goodbye to their boy.
He had a really settled night with my partner and I, and has warmed to us both already. He’s incredibly affectionate which we both love (currently he’s lying beside me snuggled up on the sofa!) We had a short walk this morning, so he can get used to his new surroundings and all the different smells, and we have a big garden for him to run around in too, which he loves and first thing he did this morning was have the zoomies running up and down! He has absolutely stolen our hearts already, and we can’t wait for the adventures ahead!
We are going to get the couple a card and probably a photo of our (it feels surrral saying that now) doggo, to show our gratitude towards them and all they have done. So excited to see what the future holds with our boy 🐕♥️
