I'm not leaving him alone entirely, my family is home, but according to them, he behaves really badly when I leave, barking, biting, pooping and peeing everywhere, you name it.
For like a week we had him sleep alone, locked in our washroom, this was not the setup I wanted, and I was not given the time to prepare him for it, so he cried a lot and was in a lot of distress. I wonder if maybe it's this?
He doesn't seem to have full on separation anxiety though, like I can leave him downstairs and go do something upstairs and he is completely fine for hours, he'll leave my company and go do something else just fine. But the moment I leave the house (Or go to sleep with my door closed) he doesn't take it well at all.
I am leaving for 4 days the 15th, tickets are already bought so there's no undoing it. I'm aware I probably won't be able to fix this by then, but does anyone have any tips to tackle this?
