Thinking About Getting an Akita Inu – Need Advice

Hello everyone, I’m new here 👋

I’m planning to buy an Akita Inu because I really love the breed, but I have two concerns and I’d appreciate advice from experienced owners.

1️⃣ Smell: I previously owned a German Shepherd and a Labrador, and both had a strong dog smell. How is the Akita in comparison?

2️⃣ Weather: I live in Egypt, where summer temperatures reach 35–40°C. I do have air conditioning at home, but I’d like to hear from Akita owners who live in hot climates.
