Weird question. But I have a very large open area by where the backdoor is but it’s an award shape. I want to put his puppy pen by where the couches are so he will be near us, but it would be too big to get one to stretch to where the sliding back door is. Do you recommend I put the pen near the couches where we will mostly be and then I just walk him to the outside, or should I keep the pen by the door to better potty train him and get him used to telling us he has to go out?
