We just picked up our new puppy yesterday and he has been amazing so far, however he is mostly or completely blind. He is a 9.5 week old standard poodle, the breeder is wonderful and did everything right (CHIC and genetic testing, proven show parents with good bloodlines, proper prenatal care) however he was unfortunately born blind. He has been doing so well with learning the house and was super happy in his crate during the drive and all night, didn’t have any crate accidents (I got up with him during the night to potty), but this is my first time with a dog with vision impairment. Please give me any tips you have!
