Sorry if this is kinda of a rant as well but i definitely need training advice!
My puppy (a aussie mini mix with poodle) hads been noticeably been kinda forgetting how to behave. She was pretty jumpy before but I taught her to not be jumping when where not playing and to sit down and relax when it's time to but now it's like she forgets it and when I try to she doesn't listen anymore. She is staring to jump on people and even jumping to bite (more like play bitting) and even sometimes to the face. She is so stubborn now and miss behaving to the point my dad is getting involved and spanking her hard to the point she yelps. It gets me so pissed off cause he never did this with the other but just mines? The other miss behaves sometimes and he spanks them but not hard like wth. I don't agree with hurting any dog!! Especially this hard it gets me so mad >:(
I told him to stop and he told me I need to train my dog to behave. Like I havent been trying to do that!???
And my mom is on his side saying that if she doesn't get trained we are getting rid of her. Which gets me also mad cause my little sister's dog use to be like this as a puppy she even ripped our floor mat out and the corner of our sofa was chewed but yet my parent never threaten to get rid of her (MY SISITER NEVER TRAINED HER EATHER!!)
Sorry for that small rant but I definitely need advice on how to fix this I want my family to stop looking at my puppy as if she is some type of annoying thing they don't treat her like the others. Is there any articles to videos I can watch on how to fix these problems? Or any advice of how you fixed you puppy with this situation I feel like I'm failing at this 😭
