I have Hashimoto disease and sleep a lot. I usually go to bed at 8pm and wake up at 6am. So 10 hours.
We got our puppy (12 weeks, Cavapoo) a week ago, and she’s an absolute delight.
I’ve been putting her to bed when I go to bed— in her crate in my room—and she has been sleeping through the night. I feel like I really lucked out!
She does 3 naps in her crate during the day, but she usually wants to snooze up on the couch with me around 6pm. I wake her at 7:30, do potty, and then we’re in bed by 8.
Is that nap too close to bedtime? Last night she was a bit restless through the night, and I wondered if she’s getting too much sleep right before bedtime. I know 10 hours of sleep at night is asking a lot, but it’s what my reality is, so I’m just trying to make it work!
Any advice?
