Two-month furnished sublet with my dog: buy my own bedding or just wash?

I’m subletting a furnished apartment for about two months. The host allowed my dog, and he sleeps with me.

I’m debating what’s more reasonable or considerate:

Option A: buy a mattress protector and my own bed sheets, so my dog doesn’t sleep on the host’s bedding at all. Option B: use the existing bedding and just wash it regularly.

The complication is that there’s no dryer, only a washing machine, and I know dryers help remove dog hair much better than washing alone. My dog has black hair, so it’s pretty visible.

I don’t want to overdo it, but I also don’t want to be inconsiderate or leave bedding full of hair at the end of my stay. For a two-month sublet, what would you do?
