My older dog runs away from the little one. I need answers. Thank you.

Hello. I have a Shih Tzu who's almost four years old, and today we brought home a three-and-a-half-month-old poodle puppy. The problem is, the older dog runs away and hides from the poodle. I'd like to help them get along better. Thank you very much.
