my partner and i recently adopted a 5 month old lab mix puppy and every time we fill her bowl, she absolutely drains all of the water. it’s making it harder to potty train her as she pees much more than any other dog i’ve ever met. some sources online say it’s because puppies have higher metabolism, others say she’s drinking just because she’s bored. has anyone else had this problem? how can we manage it to make sure she’s still hydrated but not peeing every hour?
